“Magnificent old home..”

Dubuque bed and breakfast is an absolutely delightful place located within the central part of town. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and warm. After much passion, dedication and hard work they've restored this magnificent old home with all its history to its former glory and beyond. I stayed for work in the lovely cottage located near the home and only wished I could have spent many more days relaxing on the verandah or in the main home curled up on a couch with a good book.

We are in awe of this property! The photos don't do it justice, and the photos are incredible. Chris and Duncan were very welcoming, we can't wait to go back. “A beautifully and impeccably restored 130yo house gives an extremely luxurious feel. Bright, airy and spotlessly clean. Chris delivers exceptional hospitality and made an amazing breakfast, exactly as per request. Beds are very comfortable. Shared bathroom and dining rooms are huge. Open living area offers library and seating. Highly recommended if going to the area.”

My daughter and son in laws wedding reception was held at Dubuque, and I must say Chris and Duncan could not do enough for everyone. All the parents spent the night in the B&B and were treated like royalty. The breakfast the next morning was excellent.
